Rachel Barcellona: Autism Advocate, Model, Author, Singer, Actress, Pageant Winner
Passionate about advocating for Autism. Encouraging those with disabilities to accomplish anything.
“I show people that I can do anything despite my disability. Be yourself no matter what, and don’t let others define who you are.”
I've competed in several pageants in order to build my confidence, winning many national titles and using my platform for autism awareness to make a difference; to show that I can do anything!
I love writing in my spare time, but it is one of my dreams to be a professional author. I am currently writing a series of YA historical fantasy novels that I hope to get published one day.
I love opera singing and enjoy entertaining people with my voice, because music is an international language that can make a difference in everyone's life! I've sang at Madison Square Gardens twice and at several other events throughout the years.
Spokesperson for Autism
I'm very passionate about advocating for autism because I was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, so I've created my platform - "Ability Beyond Disability" to help encourage those with disabilities that they can accomplish anything. However, I am very passionate about helping people on a larger scale one day, so I'm studying to work at the United Nations.
Actress and Voiceover
I love to act, in front of and behind the camera! I enjoy doing voiceovers and played the role of "Pook" in an animated short called "Airburst, the Soda of Doom". I hope to venture even further into acting, as I've just been signed with a few agents.
I enjoy modeling and have walked in several shows for New York Fashion Week, which was a big deal for me. Modeling means breaking barriers for me, and every time I get onstage, I show people that I can do anything despite my disability. I've currently been signed to a modeling agency and hope to do more modeling in the future.
Rachel currently serves as a board member for C.A.R.D. USF, and SafeMinds, and is an ambassador for The Unicorn Children's Foundation, all which have impacted the lives of families and autistic children everywhere.
The Unicorn Children's Foundation has raised a quarter of a million dollars to help donate to families who don't have money for the necessary therapies/resources for their children.

Fashion Rocks Autism
I've been attending Fashion Rocks Autism for a long time now, and it's safe to say that I love it so much! I can easily tell you that I love coming together with so many people to showcase what I'm capable of, as many people with autism are.
That's exactly what this show is about.
Fashion Rocks Autism has brought together two things that I love most - fashion and heavy metal! I love being able to walk onstage in a designer dress by Ella Pritsker Couture and then rocking out to AC/DC; that's the best! However, that's only the bare minimum. So many people are brought together to model not only clothes, but their capabilities. This is the part that I love the most...
